Job summary

New Park Care Centre seeks motivated staff to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and cleaning across the facility, enhancing residents' experience and comfort.

Responsibilities include maintaining spotless bedrooms and communal areas, using correct cleaning methods, and ensuring a steady supply of laundered linen. The role may also involve covering some kitchen shifts; training will be provided. An excellent command of English and full flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential.
• Passion about elder care, providing residents with a safe, clean environment to live in.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A professional, caring and empathetic nature.
• Excellent level of English language skills.
• Full-flexibility required - Monday to Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the Care Home
• Use appropriate methods and correct materials to clean all surfaces and furnishings
• Ensure all bedrooms and communal areas are properly cleaned and maintained throughout the building
• Distribute and ensure a adequate supply of laundered linen for the Care Home
• Report any defects to equipment and follow all cleaning policies and procedures
• Must be also available to cover some kitchen shifts. Training will be provided.
• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene
• Good verbal and written communication
• Hours of work from 07.30-15.30 hrs 5/6 days per weeks to include weekends
• YOUR OWN TRANSPORT IS DESIRABLE OTHERWISE YOU WILL HAVE TO GET TWO (2) BUSES
