We are seeking a HSE Hospital Chef to join a healthcare facility in Dublin 4, delivering freshly prepared meals that support patient care and wellbeing. This is a rewarding position ideal for chefs with experience in hospital kitchens, HSE facilities, or high‑volume catering environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present nutritious meals in line with dietary and nutritional guidelines
  • Lead or support daily kitchen operations to maintain efficiency, quality, and consistency
  • Follow all HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and cook‑chill protocols
  • Oversee stock rotation, food storage, and waste minimisation
  • Monitor portion control, food presentation, and allergen management
  • Collaborate with dietitians and clinical teams on menu planning and patient requirements
  • Maintain a clean, compliant, and organised kitchen environment
Requirements
  • QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional chef qualification
  • Experience in a healthcare or high‑volume catering environment
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and cook‑chill processes
  • Legal right to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance
  • Ability to provide 5 years of work references
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time‑management skills
  • Flexible to work weekday and weekend shifts as required
Salary & Benefits
