Job summary

Bluebird Care Ireland is seeking an Experienced Healthcare Assistant in Carlow to provide in-home personal care and support. The role focuses on implementing care plans, promoting client dignity, and ensuring wellbeing.

Carlow town and surrounding areas offer flexible hours and full/part-time contracts with varying shifts. Applicants should have QQI Level 5 Care of the Older Person and Care Skills/Healthcare Support or at least 1 year of relevant experience, and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Care of the Older Person and QQI Care Skills/Healthcare Support are required.
• At least 1 year of caring experience and ability to undertake QQI Level 5 modules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care and assistance to clients in their own homes.
• Implement clients' care plans and promote comfort, dignity and wellbeing.
• Assist with Activities of Living and other care duties as required.
