Job Title: Home Care Support Worker

Location: Main Street, Clane, Co. Kildare (Nationwide coverage)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: €31,500 per annum (€605.76 per week / €15.14 per hour)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Travel to clients’ homes to deliver care services as required.
• Assist with mealtimes, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
• Build positive and supportive relationships with clients and their families.
• Deliver emotional support, companionship, and social engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client conditions.
• Deliver high standards of personal, emotional, and social care.
• Uphold all safety, hygiene, and care standards at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care, healthcare assistance, Care Skills, or Care of the Older Person (preferred).
• Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centred approach.
• Physical ability to perform care duties.
• Manual Handling and Patient Handling certificates (required).
• Healthcare qualification preferred.
• Police Clearance Certificate.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Full driver’s licence (National or International) – Essential.
