Job summary

dnata Catering Ireland Dublin Airport is hiring a Rigid (C License) Driver to join our Dublin operation. This local role involves delivering airline catering and equipment between our facility and aircraft at Dublin Airport, in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.

You will perform daily vehicle safety checks, complete required documentation, and work a 5/7 roster with overtime opportunities. The position is permanent and full-time with a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C (Rigid) Driving Licence.
• Current Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous rigid/HGV driving experience.
• Ability to drive both left- and right-hand drive vehicles.
• Flexible shifts including weekends, early mornings and nights.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Satisfactory Garda Vetting and 5-year background check.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks before each shift.
• Transport catering and equipment between the catering unit and aircraft.
• Load and unload aircraft in line with company, airline and airport procedures.
• Complete all required security and delivery documentation.
• Operate vehicles safely in accordance with road traffic and airport regulations.
• Use digital tachograph equipment correctly.
• Refuel and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Support operational teams during quieter periods when required.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, security and customer service.

Rigid (C License) Driver - Dublin Airport dnata Catering Ireland Dublin Airport Logistics Park, St. Margaret's €20.52 per hour + Overtime Available Permanent, Full-Time 40 Hours per Week | 5/7 Roster dnata Catering Ireland is recruiting C License(Rigid) Drivers to join our operation at Dublin Airport. This is a local driving role with short routes between our facility and aircraft operating at Dublin Airport. You'll be responsible for delivering airline catering and equipment directly to aircraft, working in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment where punctuality and professionalism matter. The Role As a Driver, you'll play a key role in ensuring flights depart on time by safely delivering, loading and unloading catering and equipment to aircraft across the airport. The position is customer-facing at times and involves regular interaction with airline crews.

What We're Looking For

Important Information

Due to aviation security requirements, all successful applicants must complete Garda Vetting and a 5-year employment/background screening process. As a result, start dates are typically 3-4 weeks after offer acceptance.
