Job summary

Aureol Global Connections is seeking an experienced HGV Excavator Driver to join our construction and logistics team on Ireland sites. You will operate excavators for digging, trenching and earthmoving tasks while driving HGVs to transport machinery and materials to various sites.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency and reliability, with duties including regular equipment checks, adherence to site plans, and coordination with supervisors to ensure smooth workflow across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV driving license with endorsements.
• Experience operating excavators and driving HGV vehicles.
• Understanding of excavation techniques and site safety procedures.
• Ability to conduct routine equipment maintenance and safety inspections.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused.
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators safely for earthmoving, digging and site prep.
• Drive HGV vehicles to transport excavators, materials and equipment between sites.
• Perform regular maintenance and safety checks on equipment and vehicles.
• Follow site instructions, plans and safety regulations during operations.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and team members for smooth workflow.
• Maintain records of hours, trips and maintenance activities.
• Report equipment faults or safety issues promptly.
