Job summary

Coldridge Scaffolding Limited in St. Margaret’s, Co. Dublin, is seeking experienced HGV drivers for immediate starts at their base and on-site assignments across locations in Ireland.

The role requires 1–3 years of HGV driving experience and a CE or C1E licence under mutual recognition rules. Training will be provided on the job. Remuneration is €19 per hour, with a weekly schedule of 46.5 hours and an annual gross pay of €45,942.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ of previous experience as a HGV Driver is required.
• Applicants must hold an equivalent category CE or C1E driving licence identified through mutual recognition between authorities).
• Further training will be provided on‑job as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGVs, including loading and unloading cargo.
• Deliver goods to specified locations on time and in good condition.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.
• Comply with driving regulations, including EU and Irish transport laws.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks.
• Communicate professionally with customers and dispatchers to resolve issues.
• Follow safety protocols for transporting hazardous materials (if applicable).
• Ensure cargo security during transit.
