Job summary

Auburn Manor Ltd T/A Quinn Transport is seeking an experienced HGV Driver for Athlone, Co. Westmeath. You will operate from the depot, load and secure goods, maintain trip records, and adhere to schedules.

Applicants must have at least six months’ experience and hold a Category CE or C1E licence. Annual salary is €45,000 with a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• At least six months' experience in a similar role.
• Must hold Category CE or C1E driving licence.
• Eligible to work in Ireland with valid permit (non-EEA nationals).

Responsibilities

• Drive the vehicle from the depot to loading/unloading points.
• Assist with loading/unloading and ensure loads are secured.
• Drive to destination in accordance with the schedule.
• Maintain records of journey times, mileage and hours worked.
• Undertake minor repairs and report faults.
• Agree delivery schedules and routes with Transport Management.

Job Description

HGV Driver required to work at Auburn Manor Ltd T/A Quinn Transport, located at Blyry Industrial Estate, Athlone, Co. Westmeath. The candidate must have at least six months’ experience in a similar role and must, without exception, hold a Category CE or C1E driving licence.

• Driving the vehicle from the depot to loading/unloading points
• Assisting with loading and unloading and ensuring that loads are evenly distributed and safely secured
• Driving the vehicle to its destination in accordance with the agreed schedule
• Maintaining records of journey times, mileage and hours worked
• Undertaking minor repairs and notifying the supervisor of any mechanical faults
• Agreed delivery schedules and routes with Transport Management

Salary: €45,000 per annum. Working hours: 40 hours per week.
