Job summary

Goggins Transport Company Ltd in Ireland is expanding its team of experienced HGV drivers, mainly based out of Dublin Port, with deliveries across Ireland. You will drive modern curtainsider rigs and be responsible for loading/unloading cargo while maintaining load security and paperwork.

The role requires CPC and tachograph cards, a clean licence, and fluent English. Working days are Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts and possible overnight stays in the truck.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card and be in date.
• CPC up to date and valid.
• Clean Licence and in-date.
• Written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Load and offload cargo on Curtainsider trailers.
• Ensure load security and correct paperwork.
• Work mainly out of Dublin Port with deliveries nationwide.
• Optimise driving hours and maintain Health & Safety standards.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues and customers.

Goggins Transport Company Ltd has been operating in Ireland for over 40 years. Our business is ever growing and expanding, as such we are adding to our team of experienced HGV drivers. Working mainly out of Dublin Port, with deliveries/collections throughout Ireland, we provide excellent terms and conditions for the right person. Our main office is located at Rosemount Business Park, Ballycoolin with trailer parking areas at Lusk, Greenogue Business Park and Rathcoole. You will be provided with and operate a modern, regularly maintained truck and trailers. The working days are Monday to Friday, with some paid weekend work, and staying out in the truck overnight may be required. You will be responsible for loading and offloading various cargo on Curtainsider trailers, ensuring you are happy with load security. There may be time-sensitive deliveries/collections. You will be required to optimise your driving hours. We expect professional communication and completion of paperwork while always following Health & Safety guidelines. You will be required to be respectful of your colleagues and customers while representing Goggins Transport Company Ltd.

Required Criteria
