Job summary

Flynn Transport Ltd in Ireland is seeking 3 fully qualified and experienced HGV Drivers to join their team in Dublin. This is a full-time, permanent role based at the Dublin yard (D18 C5C8). Salary is €47,000–€54,000 per year, dependent on experience, with a 45-hour week.

Duties include vehicle checks, driving to loading and unloading points, coordinating with transport management, keeping journey records, securing loads, and minor repairs.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required.
• Minimum 5+ years HGV driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Check tyres, brakes, lights, oil, water and fuel levels and general condition of the vehicle.
• Drive vehicle from depot to loading/unloading point.
• Agree delivery schedule and route with transport management.
• Drive vehicle to destination in accordance with schedule.
• Maintains records of journey times, mileage and hours worked.
• Ensures that load is evenly distributed and safely secured.
• Undertakes minor repairs and notifies supervisor of any mechanical faults.
