Safetykleen is seeking a field technician in Ireland to service and maintain parts washers, manage waste collection, and perform inspections across customer sites. You will engage directly with customers, follow safety protocols, and participate in ongoing training to develop technical skills.

The role involves predominantly hands-on work with some driving, Monday to Friday day shifts, and a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• C1 Licence with valid CPC and Tachograph card is required.
• ADR certification is desirable but not strict, please have it if possible.

• Handle waste collection and product delivery safely, transporting materials as required.

Role Overview

You’ll be out on the road every day carrying out servicing, inspections, minor repairs, and chemical waste collections and deliveries. What You’ll Be Doing

80% Hands on

20% Driving

• You’ll service and maintain parts washers, making sure equipment is cleaned, checked, and running safely and efficiently to keep customers compliant and operational.
• You’ll handle waste collection and product delivery, safely managing and transporting materials.
• You’ll carry out inspections and preventative maintenance, spotting issues early and preventing breakdowns before they happen.
• You’ll engage directly with customers on site, building trust, following procedures, and making sure every visit is completed to a high standard.
• You’ll carry out repairs and part replacements, with full training and ongoing development provided to build your technical skills and confidence.
• You’ll use digital tools to accurately record your work, capturing key service information, and any important findings from each visit.
• And you’ll constantly be scanning for improvements-whether that’s a service opportunity, a risk, or a smarter way of doing things.

About You

• C1 Licence required - experienced or newly qualified with valid CPC and Tacho card.
• ADR desirable but necessary.
• You’re confident dealing with customers on site and always represent yourself and the business in a professional, positive way.

• You’re comfortable working independently, in the field, in a physically active role.
