Job summary

Elevation Training, part of the Comfort Keepers group, seeks a Trainer to deliver high-quality induction and QQI training for people working in care. You will report to the Head of Training & Quality, delivering and assessing training, supporting learners, and coordinating schedules and materials.

You will maintain accurate records, respond to learner queries, and work with tutors and internal verifiers to ensure QQI quality assurance procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Must have a health or care background with experience in care of older people.
• QQI Level 6 Train the Trainer or QQI Level 6 Training and Development Special Purpose Award.
• Experience delivering training to groups or individuals.
• Full driving licence and access to your own car.

Responsibilities

• Deliver induction and QQI training to learners.

Job description

Elevation Training, part of the Comfort Keepers group, is looking for a Trainer to deliver high-quality induction and QQI training for people working in care. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge and helping learners build confidence in their work.

Reporting to the Head of Training & Quality, you’ll deliver and assess training, support learners throughout their programmes, and help coordinate training schedules and materials. You’ll also maintain accurate records, respond to learner queries and work with tutors and internal verifiers to ensure our QQI quality assurance procedures are followed.

To be considered, you must have:

• A health or social care, or nursing background, with experience in care of older people
• QQI Level 6 Train the Trainer or a QQI Level 6 Training and Development Special Purpose Award
• Experience delivering training to groups or individuals
• A full driving licence and access to your own car

You’ll need strong communication and organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Travel accounts for approximately 40–60% of the role.
