Job summary

Castlemanor Nursing Home, part of Trinity Care Group, seeks a dedicated cleaner to join our care team in Ireland. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across all areas and assisting with laundry duties including bed linens and client belongings.

Shifts are 2 to 4 days per week, typically 08:30–16:30, with care for chemicals and safety a priority. The role requires reliability and a proactive approach to supporting residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Cleaning duties and responsibilities as outlined in job posting.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Ability to maintain hygiene standards in a care home environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest standard of cleanliness in all areas.
• Carry out laundry duties including bed linens and personal items for clients.
• Maintain trolley, press and working area, restock before shift end.
• Understand usage and hazards of cleaning products.
• Record keeping and reporting faults or needs for repairs.
• Adhere to specifications, standards and procedures while at work.
• Carry out any reasonable requests by management.
