Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (or equivalent)
• Minimum of two years’ experience in elder care
• Alternatively, Nursing, Allied Health, or healthcare-related degree
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong supervisory, leadership, and motivational abilities
• Local staff accommodation and ongoing training available

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care focusing on residents' physical, social, and emotional needs.
• Assist with daily living activities including feeding, dressing, bathing and mobility.
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity and rights while encouraging independence.
• Follow care plans and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Ensure a safe, secure environment for residents and staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents and their families about care and activities.
• Support and participate in resident events and activities.
