CPL HealthCare is recruiting HealthCare Assistants for North Dublin on a full-time permanent basis. The role offers opportunities for both experienced and inexperienced candidates and requires a positive, communicative approach to elderly care.

Relocation support is provided, with premiums for nights, Sundays and bank holidays, plus benefits such as meals, uniform, training and development. Shift patterns include days and nights with flexibility required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide care to residents while promoting independence.

General Responsibilities:

• Provide care to residents ensuring their independence is promoted and that residents' dignity is maintained at all times. This will involve following your clients care plan - assistance with personal care and mobility.
• Developing and maintaining good relationships with residents and their families.
• Adhering to confidentiality policy at all times.
• Ensuring resident safety at all times.
• Deliver high quality care and assistance to our residents - personal care, toileting, moving & transferring.
• Communicate any changes or concerns in relation to resident needs/care.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and Infection Prevention and Control regulations.
• Assisting in maintaining a physical environment that is safe, peaceful, and comfortable for all residents and employees alike.

Qualifications and Skills

• Healthcare/social care related qualification OR relative experience in a similar environment.
• Availability to work varied shift patterns days, nights & weekends, across Monday to Sunday is essential.
• Practical experience in a caring capacity desired.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Professional, caring and empathetic nature.
• Be comfortable working in a sometimes, challenging environment.
• Experience in elderly care is desirable
• Newly graduated HealthCare Assistants are also welcomed to apply
