Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care (Ireland) seeks compassionate Health Care Assistants to support children and adults with complex needs in the community. If you are dedicated, reliable and enjoy making a real difference in people’s lives, this role is for you.

Part-time hours with 3-hour and 8-hour daytime shifts. Weekday schedule with two weekend days per month and flexible options to suit your lifestyle. Driving is required and overseas applicants are not considered at this time.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required to communicate with clients and care teams.
• A valid driving licence and access to a car are required.
• QQI Level 5 Certification in Healthcare or Care skills and Care of the older person is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care to children and adults with complex needs in the community.
• Support client safety, comfort and independence in daily activities.
• Follow individual care plans and document care activities as required.

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 Certification in Healthcare or obtained Care skills and Care of the older person
• Previous experience working as a health care professional preferred but not required
• Must have a valid driving licence and access to a car
• Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland without visa sponsorship
• Mandatory Certifications up to date
• Fluent in English
