Job summary

Noel Group in Cork is recruiting Health Care Assistants to join our relief team servicing the HSE nationwide. You will deliver direct care and support patients with activities of daily living in the Cork area, upholding dignity and confidentiality.

Required are QQI/FETAC Level 5 in healthcare, Basic Life Support, and moving/handling competencies. Visa/GNIB if applicable and police clearance if you have lived abroad.

Qualifications

• QQI/FETAC Level 5 qualification in a Healthcare discipline
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Patient Moving & Handling
• Visa or GNIB (if applicable)
• International Police Clearance (if lived abroad 6+ months)

Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned responsibilities involving direct care and all activities of daily living.
• Maintain standards of personal hygiene, dietary intake, physical and mental health.
• Ensure that care is carried out in an empathetic manner and that dignity is respected.
• Assist with patients mobility, using appropriate moving equipment when needed.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all information made available.

Noel Group is proud to announce our appointment as a Tier 2 supplier to the HSE, supporting healthcare facilities across Ireland. We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistants to join our growing team of relief staff working in the public healthcare sector in the Cork area.

Responsibilities:

• To carry out assigned responsibilities involving direct care and all activities of daily living.

• To ensure that care is carried out in an empathetic manner and that dignity is respected.
