Job summary

Comfort Keepers seeks Healthcare Assistants/Carers to support clients in Ennistymon and surrounding areas. You will help clients live independently at home, delivering personal care with dignity, assisting meals, and handling light housekeeping, under the guidance of local management.

We offer training, induction, and clear career progression, plus mileage reimbursement for travel between visits and 24/7 support from management. A driving licence is not required but is beneficial.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support desirable; if you do not hold it, we will fully support you to complete it.

Responsibilities

• Delivering personal care including support with mobility, dressing, and continence care with dignity and respect at all times.
• Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Providing medication prompts and maintaining accurate, timely records.
• Travel between client visits within your local area.
• Observing client wellbeing and escalating any concerns promptly to the local office management.

What the Role Involves

Pay & Benefits

Hourly rates up to €18.53. Premium rates for weekends, bank holidays, qualifications, and length of service, your pay grows with you.

Travel between client visits in your local area using your own vehicle - mileage fully reimbursed.

Full Time or Part Time positions available.
