Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking caring individuals to support clients to live independently at home in Ireland. You will provide personal care, assist with meals and light housekeeping, and help clients stay connected to their community.

Role involves travel to client visits, medication prompts, and maintaining notes. A driving licence is not required but beneficial; QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is desirable, with full support offered to achieve it.

• EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support desirable; we will fully support you to complete it.
• Genuine motivation to support people in the community to live with independence and dignity.

What the Role Involves

• Delivering personal care including support with mobility, dressing, and continence care with dignity and respect at all times.
• Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Providing medication prompts and maintaining accurate, timely records.
• Travel between client visits within your local area.
• Observing client wellbeing and escalating any concerns promptly to the local office management.
• Building a professional, trusted relationship with your client and their family.
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and privacy at all times, the trust of our clients and their families is central to everything we do.

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly rates up to €18.53.
• Premium rates for weekends, bank holidays, qualifications, and length of service, your pay grows with you.
• Travel between client visits in your local area using your own vehicle - mileage fully reimbursed.
