Job Description

Attuned Programmes Ireland, an organisation responding to meet the needs of vulnerable young people through community, residential and aftercare supports, is looking for a highly motivated Healthcare Assistant for its Disability Service. The role supports young people in developing self‑care and independent living skills and helping them to ultimately live an independent life in the community.


Responsibilities


  • Support young people in developing self‑care and independent living skills.

  • Help residents build capacity and opportunities for independent community living.


Requirements


  • Minimum FETAC/QQI Level 5 qualification or equivalent.

  • At least 1 year experience working as a Healthcare Assistant or in a similar direct resident care role.

  • Deep commitment to residents’ rights and protection.

  • Knowledge of all relevant legislation.

  • Proficient communication, IT, report writing and planning skills.

  • Subject to Garda clearance.

  • A full clean driving licence is desirable.
