Job summary

Dovida Ireland is seeking dedicated care workers to support clients at home across County Athlone. You will help older adults and people with disabilities live safely, with dignity and independence in their own homes.

Responsibilities include companionship, light tasks, personal care, and accompanying clients to appointments. Training is provided and a supportive local team stands ready to assist you daily.

Qualifications

• Kind, caring and dependable.
• A good communicator who enjoys helping others.
• Physically able for the role.
• Flexible with visit times.
• Desirable QQI qualification, with full driving licence and/or care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful companionship and conversation.
• Carry out light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, hygiene).
• Run errands or accompany clients to appointments.
