Job summary

CARRIGORAN HOUSE is seeking caregivers with QQI Level 5 in healthcare related to elder care. Prior experience caring for older adults in residential or domiciliary settings is required.

You will competently assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, toileting, grooming, eating, walking and exercise, and help with meals and rehabilitation activities. • QQI Level 5 qualification in healthcare relevant to Care of the Older Person.
• Prior experience caring for older people in residential or domiciliary settings.
• Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, toileting, grooming, eating, walking and exercise.
• Assist with meals and post-meal cleanup.
• Support residents in daily routines within a care setting.

Job Description

Candidate's must hold a QQI level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in healthcare relevant to Care of the Older Person. In addition, prior experience caring for older people in a residential or domiciliary settings is required. Candidates will be competently assisting residents with all activities of daily living including but not limited to dressing, bathing, toileting, grooming, assistance with all eating, assistance with walking, assistance with exercise, serving meals followed by clean up.
