The Opportunity

As part of our SHEQ team, you will play a key role in promoting safe working practices, ensuring compliance with legislation, conducting site inspections, and supporting teams in maintaining our ISO-certified management systems.

What You Will Deliver
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Health & Safety Plans, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits, ensuring timely corrective actions.
  • Provide health & safety advice and support to management, supervisors, and site teams.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and refresher training sessions.
  • Liaise with external governing bodies and ensure compliance with Northern Ireland and Republic Of Ireland regulations.
  • Support environmental and quality initiatives under the company’s ISO management system.
What You Bring
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent Health & Safety qualification).
  • Relevant experience in a Health & Safety role, preferably within the construction sector, with the ability to operate confidently across site environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Northern Ireland and Republic Of Ireland health & safety legislation.
  • Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and reporting skills.
  • Proactive, pragmatic approach with the ability to influence positive safety culture.
  • Desirable: Membership of IOSH (TechIOSH or CertIOSH).
