  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to embed health and safety practices across all phases of projects.
  • Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements, and project safety documentation.
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Support incident investigations and compile reports on findings and corrective actions.
  • Actively participate in team briefings, client meetings, and safety forums to promote best practice.
  • Advise site and project managers on EHS requirements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

€50,000 - €57,000 (DoE)

Requirements

The company, known for delivering large-scale national projects, is seeking an experienced and motivated EHS Officer to join their expanding team.

With operations across Ireland, this role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of critical projects that support the development of essential services nationwide.

The successful candidate will play a central role in ensuring environmental, health and safety standards are maintained across multiple utility-based projects.

Working closely with senior project and health & safety personnel, the EHS Officer will take an active role in risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and promoting a proactive safety culture on-site. The position requires regular nationwide travel and direct involvement in day-to-day H&S coordination and reporting.
