Job summary

Southview Veterinary Hospital in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, is seeking an experienced RVN to step into a Head Nurse role. This full‑time, permanent position offers leadership opportunities as well as ongoing clinical involvement in a well‑established hospital.

You will lead the nursing team, manage rotas, mentor colleagues and uphold high clinical standards while continuing to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• RVN with leadership experience.
• Ability to lead a nursing team and develop colleagues.
• Strong clinical skills in veterinary nursing, anesthesia and inpatient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing team and manage rotas; maintain high clinical standards.
• Support and develop nursing staff; ensure compliance and quality patient care.
• Provide hands‑on nursing care and act as a clinical mentor to junior nurses.
