Job summary

AMCS Group is building a future-ready design ecosystem for its cloud-based SaaS platform. This role leads the Platform Design System, shapes the UX Framework, and partners with engineering to scale UX across three product lines.

You will drive usability improvements, governance, and an agentic SDLC strategy to align UX with product goals. You will coach and grow the UX/UI team while advocating for customer validation, design reviews, and measurable UX improvements across AMCS's waste and

Qualifications

10+ years in UX/product design, including 5+ years leading a UX/design team in enterprise or B2B SaaS.
Experience building or governing a design system and UI component library with platform/engineering teams.
Knowledge of GDPR regional governance/compliance.
Track record driving UX consistency across multiple products in a matrixed org.
Experience establishing UX research and validation practices in partnership with PM and Engineering.
Familiarity with AI/agentic workflows and their UX implications.
Experience proposing and standing up a team operating model to leadership.
Strong influence and stakeholder management; able to uphold design standards under pressure.

Responsibilities

Own and drive the AMCS Platform Design System end-to-end: standards, governance, and adoption across all product lines.
Ensure a seamless UX across sign-in, setup and user navigation.
Collaborate with platform engineering to evolve the UX Framework and shared component libraries.
Establish governance to scale design system without bottlenecks.
Drive cross-product UX consistency and propose enhancements to usability and productivity.
Set up design reviews, UX debt tracking, and heuristic audits.
Work with product, PM and engineering to define how UX shows up in SDLC: spec validation, design reviews, usability labs, acceptance criteria.
Introduce lightweight usability research practices that a small team can sustain.
Define how UX and PM share discovery/validation responsibilities.
Define target operating model for UX function, including team size, governance and evolution with AI.
