Job summary

MSF Ireland is seeking a Head of Philanthropy to develop and execute our philanthropy strategy, focusing on high-value donors and growing funding for MSF’s work in Ireland. This role reports to the Head of Office and sits on the senior management team.

The position leads a 4-person team and works closely with MSF sections globally, including the MSF UK Philanthropy team, to secure increased funding and broaden donor engagement.

Qualifications

• The Head of Philanthropy will develop and execute the philanthropy strategy for MSF Ireland.
• Will manage a portfolio of MSF Ireland’s highest value donors, typically €250k+ gifts.

SALARY GRADE: 17.1 - 17.3

SALARY: Up to € 72,198.91 - € 78,616.59 (Depending on Experience)

The Head of Philanthropy, MSF Ireland, is responsible for the development and execution of the philanthropy strategy for MSF Ireland and specifically managing a selection of MSF Ireland’s highest value donors – typically those giving at the €250k+ gift level, with a focus on broadening, growing and securing increased funding for MSF’s work.

Reporting to the Head of Office, MSF Ireland, the role holder is a key member of the MSF Ireland Senior Management team and works closely with counterparts in MSF sections globally, in particular with the MSF UK Philanthropy team.

The Head of Philanthropy, MSF Ireland, is also responsible for managing and developing a team of 4 direct reports, in pursuit of MSF Ireland’s overall philanthropy income targets.
