Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous Healthcare Assistant experience desirable.
• Up-to-date vaccinations including Hepatitis B, MMR, Tuberculosis and Varicella.
• Resident in Ireland with permission to work.
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting.
• International Police Clearance (if you have lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and support to service users.
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Promote dignity, independence and choice at all times.
• Observe and report any changes in service users' conditions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures and safeguarding standards.
