Job summary

Susquehanna International Group is offering a Hardware Engineering Co-Op (Placement) in Ireland. You will work closely with senior hardware engineers on system modelling, verification and design implementation, gaining exposure to full-scale FPGA design projects from specification to production.

The role requires pursuing an Engineering degree in Ireland with a mandatory work placement, and familiarity with C++, C#, VHDL or FPGA tools is beneficial.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering or a related STEM field.
  • Must complete a work placement as part of your course.
  • Experience with FPGA, VHDL, C++ or C# is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior hardware engineers on system modelling, verification and design implementation.
  • Contribute to full-cycle FPGA design projects from initial spec to production.
  • Apply quantitative problem-solving and data-driven approaches to hardware challenges.

As a Hardware Engineering Co - Op (Placement) at Susquehanna, you will be working with senior hardware engineers and have the opportunity to use their talents for hardware related activities such as system modelling, verification and design implementation and to see full scale FPGA designs go from initial specification to full production.

  • Technical: You have some experience of C#, C++ or VHDL And FPGA technologies and related EDA toolsets
  • Education: You are currently pursuing a degree in Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering, or a related STEM discipline, at an Irish university, and are required to complete a work placement as part of your course.
