Job summary

ARYZTA in Ireland is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with Automation experience to coordinate a team of technicians across the distribution facility. The role focuses on both reactive and preventive maintenance, using SAP, with hands-on Siemens PLC/SCADA support on equipment.

You will lead engineering activities, ensure staff training, manage contractors, and drive safety and continuous improvement while reporting to the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with automation qualifications.
• Siemens PLC control experience is essential.
• Experience leading a team of technicians in an engineering environment.
• Computer literacy, SAP.
• Refrigeration and other utility experiences would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of the engineering team and ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
• Fully responsible for engineering team activities.
• Ensure staff are trained in use and maintenance of equipment.
• Ensure equipment is repaired to highest standards by the team.
• Record all maintenance work on SAP Shift Report.
• Identify continuous improvement projects and manage them.
• Ensure Health and Safety policies are implemented.
• Provide daily feedback to management on maintenance activities.
• Be a hands-on, front-line leader in breakdown situations.
• Manage external contractors and spare parts inventory.
