Job summary

PureGym is seeking a Gym Manager to lead a busy club and drive performance while ensuring a safe, welcoming environment. You will oversee budgets, financial reporting, and inventory, and coach a team to deliver exceptional member experiences.

Reporting to a Cluster Manager, you will recruit Personal Trainers and Fitness Coaches, manage Group Exercise, and work with other Gym Managers to lift performance across the area.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience and a passion for fitness and wellbeing.
• Embodies our mantra of 'Feel PureGym good' in all actions.
• Passion for helping people reach their full potential.
• Comfortable with managing budgets, financial reporting and inventory.
• Driven to deliver results with resilience, confidence and integrity.
• L2 qualification in gym instructing and experience teaching group exercise.

Responsibilities

• Drive gym performance by analyzing detail, setting improvement plans and upholding safety and legality.
• Foster a positive, motivating work environment and engaged teams.
• Build and develop a team of Personal Trainers, Fitness Coaches and an Assistant Gym Manager.
• Recruit trainers and find new ways to attract talent.
• Deliver excellent member experience through service and standards, and manage Group Exercise offering.
• Collaborate with other Gym Managers to strengthen regional performance.
