Job Overview

This Work Placement Experience Programme provides participants with meaningful work experience, learning, and training while on the programme. It is for jobseekers who receive qualifying social welfare payments or are transferring from a social welfare scheme or an ETB Training Allowance. Eligibility is verified by the Department as part of the application process.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling fitness classes and timetabling.
• Assist membership administration and sales.
• Receive training on Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Receive training on communication skills and teamwork.
• Assist with general gym instruction.
• Assist with social media/marketing training.
• Receive formal training such as a Qualified First Aid Certification.
• Receive informal training including customer service experience, assisting with gym tours and member inductions, shadowing personal training sessions and fitness classes, gaining hands‑on experience with admin duties, using our systems for updating personal details, supporting with tours and gym inductions.
• Receive an Inclusive Obsession Membership to fully engage with and understand the facility from a member’s perspective.
