Job summary

Applegreen is seeking a Group HR Manager to support the Group HR team in delivering end-to-end employee lifecycle services across corporate functions. The role reports to the Group Head of People and emphasizes business partnering for Group and EV activities.

The successful candidate will bring strong HR leadership, project delivery experience, and a hands-on approach in a dynamic, growing organisation with exposure to UK/US contexts.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in Human Resources or related discipline. Post graduate qualifications also an advantage.
• 5-7 years’ experience in HR, with 2-3 years in a HR management level role.
• CIPD qualification and/or CIPD membership strongly preferred.
• Experience in employment law desirable.
• Broad HR experience across all areas of responsibility.
• Demonstrable skills and proven track record in shaping and delivering HR projects.
• Detailed knowledge of HR systems and HR KPIs preferred.
• High proficiency in all Microsoft Office software (Excel, PPT) essential.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment: manage end-to-end group and EV recruitment, advise hiring managers, manage PSL and metrics.
• Employee Lifecycle Business Partnering: manage lifecycle, contracts, data, disciplinary issues, provide HR advice.
• Group HR Projects: deliver HR projects, support wellbeing and inclusion and diversity events, ad hoc priorities.
