Job summary

Inizio is seeking a Group Financial Accountant in Dublin with a focus on monthly consolidation, statutory reporting, and group-wide financial controls. The role offers exposure to SOx control implementation and cross-functional collaboration across the Group Finance team.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years of PQE in a big 4 environment and experience with consolidation, audits, and complex financial systems such as Oracle Fusion, FCCS/EPM, and Workiva.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with 2 years PQE from a big 4 accounting practice background.
  • Experience consolidating groups or statutory/audit experience in large organisations.
  • Experience with financial systems and controls (Oracle Fusion, FCCS/EPM, Workiva) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Support the monthly consolidation process of the group accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of financial controls across the Group.
  • Prepare materials for internal and external audit queries.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the Group's statutory financial statements (consolidated and standalone).
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to improve reporting processes.
  • Build relationships across teams to ensure timely data sharing.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis for the Group Finance team.

Job description

Location: Dublin (hybrid - 3 days in office).

Role Overview:

The Group Financial Accountant will support the monthly preparation of the Group's consolidated financial results and help prepare analysis that helps senior management understand the financial performance of the Group. This role will also involve supporting the implementation and maintenance of Group Finance SOx controls. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to assist with a range of ad hoc finance projects and provide support to the wider Group Finance team, with a focus on improving processes and gaining broad exposure to financial reporting in a large group environment

Here's what you'll be doing:

Support the monthly consolidation process of the Inizio Group accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.

Support the implementation and monitoring of financial controls across the Group.

Help prepare materials and documentation for internal and external audit queries.

Contribute to the preparation of the Group's statutory financial statements (consolidated and standalone).

Partner with internal stakeholders to help improve financial and statutory reporting processes.

Build relationships with teams across the business to ensure accurate and timely data sharing.

Provide general support to the Group Finance team, including assisting with ad hoc financial analysis.

What you'll bring:

Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with 2 years PQE from a big 4 accounting practice background.

Industry experience in a large organisation, Private Equity owned, or PLC environment.

Consolidation experience is essential with proven experience of preparing or auditing management/statutory accounts for a large organisation.

Communicates openly.

Teamwork and collaboration and the ability to build effective partnerships with all stakeholders.

Proven record of achievement, with specific examples of process improvement achievements.

Displays strong attention to detail and has experience working to tight deadlines.

Excellent IT/financial systems experience. Oracle Fusion, Oracle FCCS/EPM, Workiva experience an advantage.
