Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

This is a developmental opportunity; no experience is necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Duties
  • Monitor the Playing/Training areas each day. Fill in any holes and remove any stones or rubbish on or around the pitch.
  • Seeding, fertilizing, spiking, watering and rolling pitches when required.
  • Keep all pathways clear of rubbish and leaves at all times.
  • When playing season is on, make sure pitches are marked for all matches.
  • Maintenance of the Clubhouse and surrounding grounds – minor repairs, i.e. making sure the container where equipment is kept is clean and tidy.
