A sports and entertainment destination is seeking a part-time Grounds Crew Member to maintain the stadium’s artificial playing surface. The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma, 1 year of relevant experience, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Responsibilities include field maintenance, installation of turf protection, and assisting with event preparations. Competitive pay is offered.

The Grounds Crew position is a part‑time position with responsibility to maintain the stadium’s artificial playing surface, including all preparation for the various sporting and entertainment events. This position will assist to install, deploy, and remove the field turf protection system (Matrax). This position will assist in executing all field activities, maintenance, and cleaning/disinfection of the artificial surface. This position will assist with lining, marking, striping, and painting of the competition field for play at the direction of the stadium’s full‑time staff.
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. Employees must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina. Salary Range: $20.00/hour - $22.00/hour
In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only. Hollywood Park considers a candidate’s education, certification, prior experience, as well as internal and external data when determining the salary level for potential new employees. Only in exceptional circumstances, if an external candidate has the experience, credentials, or expertise far exceeding what is expected for the position, would Hollywood Park consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
