Job summary

Jacobs is seeking graduates for a two‑year Graduate Development Program in Dublin. You will join the Transport Planning and Mobility Solutions team to shape better environments and cities through mentorship, real project work and targeted training.

The program offers exposure to national and international projects and a structured learning path. You will gain hands‑on experience in transport planning and potentially traffic engineering, supported by a manager and mentors as you progress through

Qualifications

• Be working towards a relevant Degree or Master’s level qualification in Transport Planning, Geography, Urban Planning, Economics, Data/Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Civil Engineering, Physics or Natural Sciences
• Hold a keen interest in transport planning and/or traffic engineering topics, such as healthy streets, walking, cycling and public transport planning, transport policy/strategy, transport modelling/appraisal, junction improvement, placemaking etc
• A flexible, proactive mindset and motivation to drive your career forward
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for learning
• Permanent right to work in Ireland

Responsibilities

• Join Jacobs Transport Planning and Mobility Solutions as part of the Cities & Places and Major Programmes business unit.
• Contribute to integrated design solutions for regions to sites with collaboration across planners, engineers, architects and project managers.
• Receive mentoring and opportunities for business and technical training to support progression.
• Develop a rounded skillset with supervision and networking to deliver innovative transport projects.
