Job summary

Xeinadin Ennis is offering a Graduate Trainee Accountant role for 3.5 years, based in Ennis, Ireland. You will work with a supportive team to gain hands-on experience across accounting, audit and tax while pursuing a professional qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the team in delivering a range of accounting, audit and tax services to clients.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, management accounts and other financial reports.
• Support audit engagements, including gathering information, performing basic testing and preparing audit documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and calculations, and support the team with Revenue‑related matters.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date client records and financial information.
• Liaise with clients and colleagues to obtain information and resolve queries in a professional manner.
• Complete routine accounting and administrative tasks accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Develop an understanding of clients’ businesses and the financial and regulatory requirements relevant to them.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across different service areas while also taking responsibility for individual tasks.
• Continually develop technical knowledge and professional skills through on‑the‑job experience and professional examinations.
• Contribute to delivering high‑quality work while adhering to Xeinadin’s processes, standards and values.

Key Requirements

We are looking for someone who is:

• Completing a business or finance related third-level qualification. (Currently in your final year)
• On track for a 2.1 degree or higher
• Is motivated to pursue a professional Accounting or Tax qualification.

• Has strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
