Job summary

CompuStaff in Galway is seeking a Graduate Software Engineer to join an established Microsoft Certified Partner. You’ll join an experienced team building intuitive software for major financial services customers across the US and Europe, applying strong coding fundamentals and a genuine willingness to learn.

Hybrid working - just 1 day per week in the Galway office. If you are a graduate who loves coding and wants to build a career in software development, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Strong programming fundamentals and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of Java or Python or C#/.NET.
• Exposure to Spring, Microservices or Cloud is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Enthusiasm to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced developers on high-quality software for financial services clients.
• Contribute to development and maintenance while gaining exposure to modern technologies and international customers.
