Job summary

YCR. in Dublin is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team on a major infrastructure project. This is an excellent entry point to begin a career in quantity surveying, working on measurement, procurement, subcontract management, change control and reporting.

You will gain hands-on experience across project data, site progress monitoring, and collaboration with operations, design, and supply chain teams while developing commercial and contractual knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant discipline.
• Graduated in 2025 or graduating in 2026.
• Strong numerical and analytical ability.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident working with different stakeholders.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation.
• Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Full driving licence.
• Legal right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
• Willingness to complete the required background screening process.
• Experience with NEC3/NEC4, BIM or related knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Commercial team with day-to-day project activities.
• Completing take-offs, measurement and remeasurement.
• Supporting subcontractor management.
• Assisting with procurement and tender analysis.
• Tracking site progress and productivity.
• Monitoring labour, plant and materials.
• Assisting with change control.
• Attending project meetings and workshops.
• Gathering and analysing project data.
• Working with Operations, Design, Commercial and supply chain teams.
• Developing your commercial and contractual knowledge.
