Job summary

Cairn Homes is seeking a graduate to join our Mechanical & Electrical team on-site in Dublin, for an 18-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will monitor installation quality, support site teams in coordinating M&E systems, and liaise with utilities to ensure timely delivery of services to new developments.

The role requires education in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services, a passion for energy management, and strong collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Focused on deadlines and programme delivery.
• Willingness to travel between sites across greater Dublin and hold a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor installation quality for M&E systems on residential projects from coordination to handover.
• Support site management in coordinating M&E systems and onsite problem solving.
• Coordinate with design teams for M&E interfaces with architecture and structure.
• Work with M&E sub-contractors on site to meet programme and quality targets.
• Liaise with utility providers and authorities to ensure timely service delivery to new developments.
• Anticipate needs for modification of existing site services and coordinate mains diversions.
• Support innovation and value engineering in M&E systems and products.
• Manage temporary electrical and water systems.
