Job Title: Graduate EHS Advisor

We are seeking a motivated Graduate EHS Advisor to join our team within a leading Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contracting environment. This role offers the opportunity to build a career in health, safety, and environmental management while working on complex construction and engineering projects. The Graduate Advisor will support the implementation of EHS policies, ensure compliance with legislation, and promote a positive safety culture across all operations.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist the EHS team in monitoring and reviewing project EHS performance.
  • Carry out site inspections, audits, and safety tours under supervision.
  • Support in preparing risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work.
  • Help investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are followed up.
  • Maintain and update EHS records, reports, and databases.
  • Promote awareness of health, safety, and environmental best practices among employees, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Assist with EHS inductions and training delivery.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in EHS legislation, standards, and industry best practice.
  • Support sustainability and environmental initiatives on projects.
Essential
  • Third level qualification in Health and Safety
  • Strong knowledge of EHS principles, legislation, and risk management
  • Good problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Fluent in English
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office package
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable
  • Prior placement or internship in construction or engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
