Responsibilities

• Manage CAD documentation and on-site inspections.

Education: Third Level Engineering Qualification (Level 8 or higher)

Position Type: Permanent Full-Time

Experience: Graduate (0-3 years)

The Role:

Lenztech Surveying & Engineering Ltd is seeking to recruit a Graduate Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team in our Portlaoise or Dublin office. The post is ideal for candidates with a Civil or Structural Engineering Degree keen to apply their professional skills and gain experience in a busy and dynamic multi-disciplinary practice.

What You Will Do:

• Civil Engineering Design including roads, sustainable drainage design, active travel, develop concepts for feasibility assessment, planning applications, land mapping, surveys, etc
• Structural design of dwelling houses and multi-storey units.
• Planning and management CAD documentation
• Working closely with other Engineers and disciplines
• Attend on-site meetings with client and other professionals
• Complete on-site inspections and records
• Ensure projects are delivered to the timescales, quality and costs agreed with senior management

Skills:

• Degree in civil or Structural Engineering (Masters degree preferable)
• Aiming to become Chartered Engineer status
• Experienced in the civil or structural design of Infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with AutoCAD / Revit
• Working knowledge of civil and structural design software
• Experience working in a Consulting Engineering or similar company
• Excellent communication, management, analytical and organisational skills required
• Efficient work methods, functioning both as part of team and on own initiative
• Experience organising and delivering complex tasks involving multiple parties within a short timeframe
• The ability to adopt and work to new procedures and systems quickly
