Job summary

Murphy is hiring Graduate Civil Engineers to work with experienced site engineers on major civil projects across Ireland. The role combines hands-on site work with formal CPD training accredited by Engineers Ireland, supporting your professional growth.

The position is site-based with regular travel across Ireland, with opportunities in the UK as well. A full Irish driving license is required; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified Civil Engineer or imminent graduate by Sept 2027.
• Desirable construction experience on civil projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Accurate setting out and dimensional control on site.
• Resolve technical problems across disciplines.
• Carry out inspections per the Inspection and Test Plan.
• Produce survey data and red-lined As-built drawings.
• Maintain safety and quality records in line with plans.
• Assist with KPI updates, material reconciliation and progress reports.
• Support QS with site quantities for monthly valuations.
