Job summary

SGS Ireland is seeking an experienced QC Analyst to join the Scientific In-sourcing team. You will perform GC and HPLC analyses in a GMP environment, test pharmaceutical substances and ensure compliance with client procedures and quality systems.

The role requires a science degree in Chemistry, 2 years of GMP lab experience, and strong data integrity. Training, safety, and teamwork are emphasized within SGS’s global, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Science degree in Chemistry or equivalent (Level 7 minimum).
• 2 years experience in a GMP laboratory PQE.
• Data integrity and knowledge of analytical technologies (HPLC, GC, KF, IR, PSD, Xray, Wet chemistry).
• Team player with strong customer service mentality.
• Excellent quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Test pharmaceutical substances in a GMP environment per procedures and quality systems.
• Train other analysts when qualified.
• Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance per procedures.
• Maintain high housekeeping and lab records to Right First Time.
