Job summary

EFOR is seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer to oversee GMP and non-GMP facility maintenance, pest control, cleaning, canteen services, and audits. The role involves managing external providers, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across the site.

The successful candidate will have an Engineering Level 8, 3+ years in a cGMP environment, and 5+ years overall experience, with strong communication and cross-department collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Level 8 qualification in Engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a cGMP environment.
• Minimum 5+ years work experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work across multiple different departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pest control program and on-site service providers.
• Manage facility cleaning program and cleaners across GMP and non-GMP areas.
• Oversee canteen services and on-site canteen provider to high standards.
• Present quality management reviews for GMP cleaning and pest control programs.
• Lead audits related to facility maintenance, pest control and cleaning.
• Manage grounds maintenance and landscaping with external providers.
• Ensure compliance with global, site engineering and quality policies.
• Comply with all EHS policies and procedures.
• Develop dashboards and monthly reporting; set performance targets.
• Conduct incident investigations and ensure CAPAs are completed on time.
• Support product, process and equipment validation where required.
• Coordinate external facilities contractors; monitor performance.
• Consider energy life cycle in long-range facility planning.
• Ensure infrastructure supports the site’s EPA licence.
• Raise GMP permits and update permit procedures.
• Liaise with Global Engineering as required.
• Lead security investigations and coordinate with Global Security.
