Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Belfast (Mallusk Newtownabbey) is seeking a proactive Gluing Assistant to support the finishing production line in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will follow SOPs to feed, glue, inspect and pack cartons, working as part of a crew and rotating duties as needed.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided; however, experience in manufacturing or print is desirable and you should be motivated to learn, ensure quality and contribute to team success.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• Experience in manufacturing/print is desirable.
• Ability to take ownership of output and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Work on the Finishing production line, feeding cartons into the gluing machine and assisting the Machine Operator.
• Quality check cartons during feeding and after gluing.
• Pack finished products into the correct corrugates per customer specifications.
• Follow health & safety requirements and company procedures.
• Rotate duties across the finishing department as required.
