Brightwater Recruitment is partnering with a well-established international insurance group to recruit a Senior Tax Manager in Dublin. You will join a lean, senior team providing in-house tax advisory, accounting and compliance across Europe and APAC.

You will review returns with external advisors, oversee advisory work, and contribute to tax provisions under US GAAP and IFRS, while staying ahead of changing international regimes. Hybrid setup in Dublin offers a broad remit.

Formación

• 10–12 years of experience with at least 5 in international tax in a corporate setting.
• CTA/ACA qualification.
• Exposure to tax reporting under US GAAP desirable.
• Strong analytical and data skills and a methodical approach to documentation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with tax provision and compliance software is helpful but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Review tax returns prepared by outside advisors in Europe and APAC, and manage those relationships.
• Advise on indirect tax, withholding tax, cross-border tax reporting and intra-group/third-party transactions.
• Support the quarterly and year-end tax provision process under US GAAP, IFRS and local reporting frameworks.
• Review current and deferred tax balances, uncertain tax positions and disclosure notes.
• Provide tax input into regulatory capital and solvency reporting.
• Work on global minimum tax (Pillar Two) calculations, filings and compliance.
• Track law changes and explain their impact to senior colleagues.
• Review transfer pricing documentation.
• Support the tax director on planning and deal/investment work.
• Prepare audit-ready files and briefings for senior stakeholders, and support external audits.
