Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced qualified accountant to join the International Statutory Controllership Team. You will own the statutory global controllership area and act as the entity controller for a portfolio of Meta's Latin American entities.

You will lead automation and AI initiatives, shaping how controllership operates in a technology-first organization. This senior role requires technical depth and cross-functional influence.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with seven-plus years in statutory accounting or financial reporting.
• Deep expertise in local compliance and statutory accounting for international entities.
• IFRS and local GAAP knowledge in a multinational, multi-entity setting.
• Experience leading process automation or transformation initiatives.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams at a senior level.

Responsibilities

• Own a global statutory control and ownership process area across international entities.
• Act as entity controller for Latin American entities ensuring local GAAP compliance.
• Lead automation and AI initiatives that scale accounting and compliance activities.
• Apply deep technical judgment to complex statutory accounting matters.
• Influence cross-functional teams to drive statutory compliance and enable business growth.
• Design scalable processes and technology-enabled solutions for the operating model.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure governance and SOX requirements.
• Communicate complex accounting matters to senior stakeholders and auditors.
