Job summary

University of Galway is seeking a dynamic and experienced executive to become Vice-President: Global & Regional Engagement. This new role will shape how the university connects with its region and the world, strengthening partnerships, fundraising, and communications to elevate its international reputation.

• Significant senior-level experience in internationalisation, communications, marketing, advancement, fundraising or external relations.
• Proven record of strategic delivery and partnership development.
• Ability to lead complex change and inspire teams to ambitious goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the portfolio spanning internationalisation, engagement, advancement, fundraising, marketing and communications.
• Provide strategic leadership across international student recruitment and mobility, regional and global partnerships, alumni engagement and public affairs.
• Develop and deliver an ambitious engagement agenda to enhance the University’s profile and impact.
• Collaborate with academic and professional services colleagues to advance educational and research ambitions.
